Thames Path Challenge Day 8

WE MADE IT!

What a day!  We started at 9.00am at Chiswick Bridge in the West and finished at 7.00pm at the Thames Barrier.  YES!  WE MADE IT!
This was a tough day with umpteen diversions, some poorly marked and some not marked at all.
We have now walked 184+ miles in just 8 days.
If you are thinking of doing this walk, in this time, BEWARE!  We have labelled this as SUPER EXTREME! 
The three of us are tired, no exhausted and looking forward to rest.
The next task is to add up exactly how much we have raised and first estimates are somewhere in the region of £8,000.
As we finished we met up with a van full of police officers from Staffordshire, as they are down hear on riot stand-by.  This reinforced the reason why we have done this walk and they were our welcome party.  They were so impressed that they had a whip round for our collection bucket.
