Are we nearly there yet?... YES
Firstly, we must apologise that there was no Blog yesterday. We have not got a very good connection in our present campsite and Brendan’s brain is not working 100%.
We have now progressed our journey to Chiswick Bridge and we are well and truely no longer in Kansas.
We have now been walking every day for 7 days, with an average of 23 miles each day. Needless to say, the journey has been gruelling. Although a break is necessary and a welcome event, the pain that we have to go through afterwards is to say the least excruciating. As all of the worn out bits cool down, we have to subject ourselves to at least 4 pain barriers each day.
Tomorrow is SUMMIT day, the final countdown, as we push on to the finish line of the Thames Barrier.
We tried to get a mention on radio two twice this week, but they weren’t interested. Perhaps some of you that are reading this can try to get some media coverage for us.
Finally a BIG BIG mention for Eric, who has followed us around all week as our support crew. Without him, we would not have made it.
Hugs and kisses to you all
