Its unacceptable to us to write off someone’s entire future at the age of 12. So we take on, and stick with, young people that others have refused to work with. We take kids who have been labelled non-achieving trouble makers, and we get them attending classes regularly, obtaining qualifications and going on to placements at college or employment.
How do we do this?
- We offer courses and workshops that are exciting and relevant to young people’s interests
- We offer programmes of study tailored to the individual
- We have exceptionally low ratio of teacher to pupil
- The courses are offered in the context of holistic support of the young person
- We aspire to high quality with everything we do, recently having become Ofsted registered.
